Extension Fee for PFS Prescriptions
In certain provinces, a patient-focused service (PFS) prescription can be billed to government plans when a prescription is extended. In these provinces, Propel Rx automatically bills the PFS prescription.
If cancelling an extended prescription, it is the pharmacy's responsibility to also cancel the PFS prescription.

A separate PFS prescription is not required in British Columbia but an intervention code must be added to the prescription. Propel Rx automatically adds the NL bill code to the extended prescription in the Rx Detail Third Party tab.
